My first ever Jack-o-lanturn. My grandparents finally let me get a pumkin after getting straight A's in all classes. (all much loved or just plain easy classes) I did all the carving myself, but grandpa helped hollow it. the work involved was tougher than I thought, but I'm really proud of the end result. Sorry for the crappy picture qualities, but these weren't really taken for artistic reason so I little care.
The face was carved to be seen at an angle, which is why half the face looks skrewered, and why the pictures themselves were taken at a certain perspective. Ce-ce kept asking me "Which one of your characters is it? is it Cruor?" ....-_-' am I really that predictable? ...I don't usually base my creations of my characters unless the creation is story related. *sigh* So no, its not Cruor, and its not based on any of my characters at all.
its just a creepy face
took 2 days. One day to hollow it out, took about an hour. Yesterday I carved it, took somewhere over an hour...I know cuz I had to put off a much desired nap...*whimper* used a short little knife which I stuck into the side for the hell of it. dispite the utter coolness of the blade, I'm not leaving it there when I put the pumpkin outside
